Cherry is the owner of Cherry Space_Architecture founded in 2006.
Interested in engineering and architecture initially, I found myself drawn to bigger environmental questions in design. Yes we can create almost anything but what is the cost? I attended SCI-Arc for my graduate degree and began an interactive investigation into design potentials for projects. My project types have changed over the years but the questions are evolving.
I am inspired by tectonics of Andy Goldworthy and James Turrell, the constructive genius of Frank Gehry and Zaha Hadid, the pragmatism of OMA , the decency of Samuel Mockbee and the relentless pursuit of what's next from Cecil Balmond.
