Located in the Methow Valley, this new residence is designed to give the owner a retreat close to the mountains.  Situated along a seasonal creek, oriented towards Lucky Jim Butte, the residence tucks into the trees for privacy from the surrounding larger homes..
Passive house standards are being used with SIPS walls and roof, over insulated slab and triple pane windows.  The shape of the house gives the owner a little bit of geometric interest inside without breaking the budget.
